BLACK HOLE
Today I'll be discussing about black holes. I guess most of you know, roughly, what a black hole is, but have no proper knowledge about them. So Commander Pringles is here to educate you guys about this thing known as a black hole.
A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing that enters the region, not even light, can escape. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass will deform spacetime to form a black hole. Around a black hole there is a mathematically defined surface called an event horizon that marks the point of no return. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits the horizon, reflecting nothing, just like a perfect black body in thermodynamics.
How does this relate to Carito? Well, in Carito, there are a few beings called Black Lords, which refer to Jet a.k.a. Wisel, Jun Ji a.k.a. SealedTime and CheeKiat a.k.a. BlackDesire.
A Black Lord is a VS player whose luck absorption capabilities are so strong that nothing that enters the game, not even a single shred of opponent's luck or hope, can escape. The theory of VS predicts that an awakened Black Lord will deform spacetime to form a black hole in their deck. Around a black hole there is always a heal, flame or something that he wants, also called a game changer that marks the point of no return for the opponent, or simply tip the game in the Black Lord's favour. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the luck present in the game, focusing it all on the next spark, reflecting nothing, resulting in a perfect spark for the situation.
Jet (Jet Black Machine Queen) is known for his ability to heal as and when he needs, and has extremely imbalanced amount of luck to boot.
Jun Ji (黑人肉叉烧包)is known for his ability to always be able to turn the tide against his opponents, through various ways like flame, heal, timely partner blocks, no matter how bad the situation may be.
CheeKiat (BlackDesire), the newest Black Lord to achieve his status, is known for his relentlessly healing, or relentlessly flaming his opponent's field, causing his opponent to lose massive advantage.
That's about all. I hope you readers learnt something, be it about general astronomic stuffs, or the state of things in Carito. There has been many cases where the Black Lords shown their power, like having situations of 2 vs 9 retire, healing 3 times in a row, successfully healing 4 times in a game (with a few failed heals in the same game). Despite many black holes scattered here and there throughout the numerous VS games in Carito, its still a fun place to enjoy a few matches of VS.
