[Weiss Schwarz] Card Of the Day 17/08/2012

Last day of the week and you know Bushiroad always keep their best for the last. Anyone getting excited yet? If not, you should be getting excited about now. Today's Cards featuring from Shakugan no Shana, Angel Beats! and Milky Holmes. All of their level 3!!!!!!!

First, we have an all new level 3 Shana!

[Continuous] The character opposing this card get Soul-1
[Continuous][Experience] As long your Level slot has cards with total level 5 and up, this card power +1000
[Auto][1] When this card attacks and you have the Climax "Colliding Feelings" in your Climax zone, you may pay the cost. If so, deal 1 damage to your opponent and this card get power +3000.(Damage can be cancelled)

Next, we have also an all new level 3 Kanade!

[Continuous] As long you have 2 or more [Death] trait character other than this card on the Stage, this card power +1000
[Continuous] The character opposing this card get Soul-1
[Auto][1] When this card attacks, you may pay the cost. If so, choose 1 of your [Death] trait character, that character get Soul+1 for this turn.

Lastly, the new detective that was formerly a police, Himeyuri!!

[Continuous] As long you have 3 or more [Police] or [Detective] trait character other than her on the Stage, this card power +1000
[Auto] When this card enters the Stage, draw 2 cards from your Deck and put 1 card from your Hand to the Waiting Room.


This is very exciting especially for me since I play a Shana deck myself. New level 3 always means new options and new stunts to be added into the deck

The new level 3 Shana, Soul reduction and a combo that deal opponent extra damage. Coupled with the "Yuji and Shana" level 3 from booster, you can deal quite a substantial amount of damage to your opponent in a single turn but as with all Climax combo, the problem is you must draw your Climax and the character themselves.

Kanade level 3, similar effect to Shana with potential of being 11000 by herself while having the Soul reduction and the ability to increase your Soul output in a turn. Pretty good I would say but I believe most people will still prefer the old Kanade level 3 due to her ability of "Heal" upon entry or "Change"

Last but not least, Milky Holmes TD level 3. Similar to both Shana and Kanade, a potential 11000 by just satisfying condition with the ability to save handsize upon entry. Pretty decent level 3 for a TD

I am quite excited with the release of the new EP but there will be still quite some time before that happens. On a side note, Bushiroad seems to be pushing Weiss Schwarz meta play to a different style all together.
