WS Card Of The Day 18/05/2012

Today is friday! and its featuring 2 blue cards from dc3

Firstly, we have a "change" character with a very unique climax combo

[Auto] [(1), send 1 [Mist of Magic] from the Climax Border or from the Waiting Room to Memory] When this card attacks, you may pay the cost, if you do, you may look at the top 2 cards of your deck. Put 1 of it in hand and leave the remaining on top of the deck in any sequence you prefer.

[Auto] [Change] [Send a [Mist of Magic] from your Waiting Room to Memory, send this card to Memory] At the start of your Encore step, if this card is in "rest" position, you may pay the cost. If you did so, from your waiting room put a "Beginning to Proceed to the Future Aoi" onto stage in the same border as this card.

Next up, we have the level 3 that is being changed into by the previous card

[Auto] When this card enters the stage from hand or by [Change], you may draw up to 2 cards from your deck, then discard 1 card.

[Auto] [(1), Put 1 [Mist of Magic] in your Memory to the Waiting Room] When this card attacks, you may pay the cost. If you did so, put the top card of your Clock to the Waiting Room.

[Auto] When your deck refreshes, if you do not have [Mist of Magic] in the memory, send this card to the Waiting Room.

Today's card are very interesting considering its one of rare cost that send climax to memory but everything was done in order to initiate the combo for the level 3 card since for her to heal you need the climax in the memory. The level 3's "heal" is hard to pull off considering you need to have the climax in memory in the first place to start "heal" though the level 2 can help in pulling the climax into the memory but its unstable if this is the only mechanism to put your own climax into memory, not to mention its risky since you will have lesser climax in your deck to "cancel"

That's all for today.

' P.S.: Stay tuned for more coverage on D.C.III next week as I go back in time to 1951 and visit Kazamidori Magic Academy in London!
